Buttercup Posy

A new stumpwork project created while visiting Virginia in the Spring! Jan uses her technique of ‘raised embroidery without wire’ to create a beautiful posy of buttercups and berry flowers. Learn to achieve delicate, fine results for raised butterflies and leaves.

Stitches used include running stitch, whipping, lazy daisy, split backstitch, buttonhole stitch, turkey knots, bullion stitch and wrapping beads.
