A chatelaine is a wonderful way to keep all your sewing requirements together. Create a wool-embroidered chatelaine that includes a pinwheel, scissor case, thimble pip and pincushion. (A beautiful addition to the berry workbag bag featured in ‘Inspirations’ #27).
You will learn to work serrated leaves, stems, raspberries, beaded blackberries, strawberries and a strawberry flower in a variety of woolen threads and beads. Stitches used are running stitch, whipping, turkey knots, buttonhole stitch, french knots, beading, woven needle bars and woven picots.
The clear instructions and carefully cut cardboard shapes will make the construction of the pinwheel very simple. The matching black headed pins are included in the kit.
